After several guest rides– first in a Russian experimental Yak 52 and then later in a glider, I was hooked on the grace and beauty of flying. I began lessons in a Cessna 172 last year, and hope to solo this year.
My true passion is aerobatics–the balance of science and artistry, the extreme attitudes–it feeds a part of my soul I didn’t know existed until that first Yak ride.
I have logged a half dozen hours in both motor planes (Cessna 172) and in gliders.
My priority is to solo in motor planes first so I can begin student competitions in aerobatics.
On the edge of two worlds
I’m excited to meet other women who are just beginning to feed their passions, and learn from and share all the mistakes (and successes) along the way!
